Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy List Los Angeles Home for Rent as They Settle in Florida
Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy, former “Dancing With the Stars” pros, have made a big move by putting their family home in Los Angeles on the rental market. The couple has decided to settle into their new life in Florida, and they are offering their stunning Valley Village property for rent at $18,000 per month.
The beautiful 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home spans approximately 4,300 square feet and boasts luxurious features such as herringbone oak floors, solid alder wood doors, oak ceilings, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, custom cherry wood cabinetry, and even a hidden “secret pantry.”
Just days after the rental listing went live, Peta and Maks shared that they had moved to Boca Raton, Florida, with their three sons – Shai, Rio, and Milan. The emotional move was captured in a YouTube vlog where the couple wiped away tears as they bid farewell to Los Angeles.
Since arriving in Florida, Peta has been updating her followers about the positive aspects of the move. She mentioned that the slower pace of life, warm weather, and seeing their boys thrive in their new environment have made the cross-country relocation worthwhile.
However, the transition wasn’t without its challenges. In their vlog, Peta revealed that Shai’s bike was stolen while they were preparing to leave Los Angeles. She suspected that it may have been taken by a young homeless woman whom they had helped by providing food and blankets the night before.
The rental listing for their Los Angeles home is being handled by Brett Karns of The Agency, who also constructed the property. The couple is excited for this new chapter in their lives and looks forward to creating new memories in sunny Florida.
