Former DOGE staffer Edward Coristine describes brutal DC attack by teen gang
Former DOGE staffer Edward Coristine recently shared his harrowing experience of being attacked by a group of teenagers in Washington’s Logan Circle neighborhood. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on August 3rd, leaving Coristine injured.
During an appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Coristine recounted the events leading up to the assault. He mentioned that he was out with a group of friends when they encountered a group of teenagers who started shouting at them. Sensing trouble, Coristine quickly ushered one of his female friends into her car and locked the doors before the attack began.
The assailants, a group of 10 individuals, proceeded to slam Coristine against the car and began throwing punches at him. Fortunately, the police arrived promptly, preventing further harm. Despite sustaining a broken nose and a concussion, Coristine considers himself lucky that the injuries were not more severe.
When questioned about his motivation for moving to Washington and working for DOGE, Coristine shared a personal story. He explained that his grandfather, a former KGB double agent for the Americans, had sacrificed his life for the opportunity to live in a free country. Inspired by his grandfather’s legacy and concerned about issues like the national debt, Coristine felt compelled to make a difference.
President Donald Trump also weighed in on the assault, expressing outrage at the escalating crime in DC. He highlighted the involvement of young individuals in violent acts and called for stricter enforcement to ensure accountability.
Coristine’s bravery in the face of adversity and his commitment to serving his country serve as a reminder of the challenges faced by individuals in today’s society. His story sheds light on the importance of addressing issues of violence and crime to create a safer environment for all.
