Ghislaine Maxwell provided no incriminating information during meetings with deputy AG on high-profile individuals who interacted with Jeffrey Epstein, transcript shows

Ghislaine Maxwell, the woman believed to have extensive knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation, has recently provided surprising insights during a two-day interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche of the U.S. Department of Justice. Maxwell claimed there was no client list, no blackmail scheme, and no involvement of high-profile associates in Epstein’s illicit activities.

During the interview session, Maxwell adamantly denied any knowledge of blackmail or the existence of a client list. She also stated that she never witnessed any inappropriate or criminal behavior by President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, or any other well-known individuals associated with Epstein. Maxwell described Trump as cordial and a gentleman, and Clinton as a truly extraordinary man and a fantastic ex-president.

Maxwell, who has been incarcerated since her arrest in 2020, maintained her innocence, insisting that she was not involved in the sexual exploitation of minors. She admitted to introducing Epstein to women but claimed they were not underage. She also mentioned that she would occasionally look for masseuses for Epstein but did not verify their credentials.

Blanche, who previously served as Trump’s personal defense attorney, announced his intention to speak with Maxwell in a social media post last month. The Department of Justice, in an unsigned memo, explained its decision not to release the government’s investigative files on Epstein, citing a lack of incriminating evidence.

Maxwell was granted limited immunity for the interview, meaning her statements could not be used against her unless she lied. She is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding and participating in Epstein’s trafficking of underage girls. Despite her conviction, Maxwell claimed in the interview that she had been wrongly accused and did not receive a fair trial.

Maxwell reiterated her previous claims that she never recruited underage individuals to massage Epstein and never witnessed or participated in any criminal acts. She denied seeing any young children at Epstein’s home in Palm Beach and stated that the masseuses she observed were always happy to be with Epstein.

Maxwell’s interview with Blanche shed light on her perspective on the Epstein case and her own involvement. The details provided during the session offer a new angle on the controversial and complex narrative surrounding Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation. In late 2021, Ghislaine Maxwell faced trial while President Joe Biden was in office. Federal prosecutors charged Maxwell with perjury for alleged lies she told during a 2016 deposition. The government criticized her credibility during her criminal case, citing her willingness to lie under oath about her conduct. The perjury charges were dropped after Maxwell was convicted on more serious charges.

Following the trial, Blanche, a top deputy to U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi, met with Maxwell. The meeting occurred shortly after the Justice Department fired Maurene Comey, who had led the criminal prosecution against Maxwell. The conversation between Blanche and Maxwell appeared cordial, with Blanche allowing Maxwell to provide lengthy critiques of her accusers’ accounts.

Blanche indicated that the goal of the meeting was to gather information about anyone who may have committed crimes against victims. Sources familiar with the situation revealed that top administration officials encouraged Blanche to seek information that could lead to criminal investigations, potentially appeasing some of Trump’s supporters.

Maxwell’s legal team initiated the meeting, as confirmed by the transcript. Maxwell expressed her willingness to speak with the government, noting that no administration had reached out to her since the start of the case in the early 2000s. Maxwell has since appealed her conviction, with a pending application before the U.S. Supreme Court.

During the meeting, Blanche, accompanied by an FBI agent and another DOJ official, questioned Maxwell about various high-profile individuals associated with Epstein, including politicians, business figures, and celebrities. Maxwell denied knowledge of any alleged wrongdoing by these individuals. Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, stated that his client answered questions about around one hundred people without holding back.

Among the individuals inquired about were tech billionaires Bill Gates, Reid Hoffman, and Elon Musk, political figures Ehud Barak, Robert Kennedy Jr., and former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell, as well as celebrities Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, and Naomi Campbell. Maxwell denied the existence of an “Epstein client list” and refuted claims of an elite cover-up to protect alleged participants in Epstein’s crimes.

Maxwell emphasized that Epstein did not need compromising information to obtain sexual favors, stating, “A man wants sexual favors, he will find that. They didn’t have to come to Epstein for that.”

The meeting between Blanche and Maxwell raised concerns among some victims of Epstein and Maxwell, with one witness, Annie Farmer, objecting to any potential leniency for Maxwell. Despite the outcome of the trial, Maxwell’s legal team has not yet sought a pardon or sentence commutation from President Trump. Maxwell’s recent interview shed light on her perspective regarding the ongoing investigations into Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes and the involvement of other prominent figures. In the interview, she vehemently denied any knowledge or witness of others being complicit in Epstein’s actions, stating, “None that I ever heard of, none that I ever witnessed.”

Drawing a parallel to the Salem witch trials, Maxwell expressed her frustration with the narrative that has been built around the case, likening it to a hysteria that has engulfed the public perception. She emphasized the need for a fair and thorough investigation without succumbing to baseless accusations and speculations.

During the interview, significant attention was given to inquiries about President Trump and ex-President Bill Clinton, both of whom had previous associations with Epstein. Maxwell revealed details about her friendship with Clinton, stating that it was separate from Epstein’s relationship with the former president. She clarified that she had introduced Clinton to Epstein for the use of his private jet for international travel, emphasizing that there was no personal connection between the two men.

Regarding President Trump, Maxwell mentioned that she had only seen him in social settings with Epstein but had never witnessed any inappropriate behavior. She expressed admiration for Trump’s achievements and cordiality towards her, highlighting her positive impressions of the current president.

Maxwell’s interview provided insights into her interactions with prominent figures connected to Epstein, shedding light on the complexities of their relationships and the need for a nuanced understanding of their associations. As the investigations continue to unfold, Maxwell’s perspective adds depth to the narrative surrounding Epstein’s crimes and the individuals involved. In a recent interview, Ghislaine Maxwell vehemently denied any claims that President Trump had engaged in inappropriate behavior with masseuses or anyone else. Maxwell, a close associate of the late Jeffrey Epstein, stated that Trump’s name appearing in the Epstein files does not constitute evidence of illicit activity.

Reports from the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal suggested that the decision not to release the Epstein files was made after President Trump was informed that his name appeared multiple times in the documents. However, Trump has denied being informed of his inclusion in the files.

President Trump has maintained that he ended his association with Epstein before any allegations of sexual abuse came to light in the mid-2000s. He stated in 2019 that he had not spoken to Epstein in 15 years and claimed to have cut ties with him after discovering Epstein was allegedly poaching employees from his private club in Palm Beach.

Maxwell, who was recently transferred from a prison in Tallahassee to a federal prison camp in Texas, is the daughter of publishing baron Robert Maxwell. After her father’s business empire collapsed in 1991, she moved to New York where she met Epstein and became closely associated with him.

Epstein, who was arrested in July 2019 on charges of conspiracy and child sex trafficking, died in custody a month later. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

It is important to note that President Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein and has stated that he had severed ties with him many years ago. The allegations surrounding Epstein’s activities continue to be a subject of intense scrutiny and investigation.
