Indian Rapper King’s Prime Video Series ‘Lukkhe’ Sets Premiere Date
Prime Video is set to release a new eight-episode musical action drama titled “Lukkhe,” directed by Himank Gaur and produced by Vipul D. Shah and Rajesh Bahl under Optimystix Entertainment and White Guerrilla LLP. The show, created and executive produced by Agrim Joshi and Debojit Das Purkayastha, revolves around the rap culture and street rivalries of Chandigarh.
The story follows two rival MCs, MC Badnaam and OG, whose feud encompasses themes of revenge, ambition, and coming-of-age. The Hindi tagline “Rap aur Badla, Dono Loud Hai” translates to “Rap and revenge are both loud,” encapsulating the central idea of the series.
The ensemble cast includes Raashii Khanna, rapper-songwriter King, Palak Tiwari, and Lakshvir Singh Saran, among others. The series promises a blend of high-octane action and pulsating rap music, while delving into complex characters and their choices.
