Jason Pierre-Paul looks shredded as ex-Giants star seeks NFL return

Jason Pierre-Paul is not ready to hang up his cleats just yet. The former Giants defensive end and two-time Super Bowl champion is making a comeback to the NFL after two seasons away from the game. Pierre-Paul has been documenting his intense workout regimen on social media, showcasing his impressive physical transformation as he gears up for a return to the field.

In a recent interview with TMZ, the 36-year-old revealed that he has slimmed down to his playing weight of 270 pounds and is moving like he did in his prime. Pierre-Paul exclaimed, “I’ve got abs! I haven’t had abs since my rookie year. So that’s how hard of work I’m putting in.” His dedication to his training is evident as he looks to recapture the form that made him a dominant force on the gridiron.

Drafted by the Giants in 2010, Pierre-Paul played an integral role in the team’s Super Bowl victory in 2011. Despite a setback in 2015, where he suffered a hand injury in a fireworks accident, Pierre-Paul continued to excel on the field. He spent eight seasons with the Giants before being traded to the Buccaneers in 2018, where he enjoyed success and earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2020.

However, in recent years, Pierre-Paul’s performance has declined, with just 5.5 sacks over his last three NFL seasons. After brief stints with the Ravens, Saints, and Dolphins, Pierre-Paul is determined to prove that he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level. He firmly believes that he can rediscover his peak form and contribute to a team in need of his skills.

As Pierre-Paul continues to train tirelessly for his NFL comeback, teams are taking notice of his determination and drive. With his experience, talent, and unwavering commitment to the game, it’s only a matter of time before Pierre-Paul finds himself back on the field, ready to make an impact once again.
