Jon Stewart Calls Trump a ‘Man-Baby’ for ‘Meet the Press’ Walk Out
Jon Stewart Criticizes President Trump for Walking Out of Interview
On a recent episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart didn’t hold back in criticizing President Donald Trump for his behavior during a recent interview on “Meet the Press.” Stewart called out Trump for his reaction to tough questioning from interviewer Kristen Welker, particularly when it came to fact-checking.
Stewart didn’t mince words, referring to Trump’s actions as a “hissy-fit” and describing him as an “incredibly fragile man-baby” who couldn’t handle being challenged outside of his usual circle of supporters. He expressed sadness at Trump’s inability to handle criticism and scrutiny.
The tension between Trump and Welker escalated during the interview when Welker questioned Trump about his proposed $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund. Trump claimed that individuals involved in the Capitol riot had been mistreated and falsely accused, but Welker pushed back, stating that there was no evidence to support his claims.
Trump then shifted the conversation to the 2020 election, continuing to make unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud and election rigging. Throughout the interview, Welker continued to fact-check Trump, leading to his eventual frustration and decision to walk out of the interview.
In a final statement before leaving, Trump accused the network of being biased and referred to Welker as “crooked.” He abruptly ended the interview, saying, “I’ve had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time.”
