Kelly Clarkson is sharing how she is helping her children cope with the loss of their father, Brandon Blackstock, through the power of togetherness.
In a recent Q&A session on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” YouTube channel, the singer revealed that her favorite daily joy is spending quiet moments with her daughter River and son Remy. Kelly emphasized that snuggling with her kids lifts her spirits every day.
Kelly mentioned that her children are at a stage where they enjoy cuddling, and in the wake of recent events, she has been allowing them to sleep in her bed more frequently.
“Our family has been through a lot lately,” Kelly shared, joking about the cozy chaos of her, two kids, and two dogs all snuggled together. However, she expressed that these moments have become precious bonding opportunities filled with heartfelt conversations and comfort.
Brandon Blackstock passed away at the age of 48 after a courageous battle with melanoma, surrounded by loved ones.
Despite a difficult divorce, Kelly always prioritized maintaining a strong relationship between her children and their father, never speaking negatively about him.
For Kelly, her primary focus remains on being present for her children, keeping them close, and providing a sense of security during this challenging chapter of their lives.
