Megyn Kelly to Lead Her Own Sirius XM Channel in New Multi-Year Deal

Megyn Kelly, a prominent talk show host who has previously led shows on Fox News Channel and NBC, is now set to spearhead her own channel on SiriusXM. Under her production company, Devil May Care Media, Kelly will launch the “Megyn Kelly Channel” on SiriusXM channel 111, starting November 4. This channel will feature her popular show, “The Megyn Kelly Show,” along with new programming such as an exclusive daily after-show program. More series, shows, and specials are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

In a statement, Kelly expressed her excitement about delivering uncensored news on SiriusXM, stating that linear television news is dead and people are looking for more authentic conversations. She emphasized the importance of providing content that listeners can trust and enjoy.

Kelly is part of a trend where opinion personalities are gaining traction in the audio and direct-to-consumer space, following the rise of conservative media outside traditional news outlets. Figures like Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck, and Tucker Carlson have found success in reaching niche audiences through their own platforms.

For Kelly, being her own boss is essential, as she mentioned in a recent interview with Variety. She prefers running her own show and avoiding conflicts with senior executives, referencing past experiences at Fox News Channel and NBC News.

During her time as an audio host, Kelly has interviewed notable figures such as President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. She has also engaged in conversations with other personalities like Tucker Carlson, Piers Morgan, and Bill Maher.

In addition to her SiriusXM channel, Kelly has launched podcasts through her MK Media network, featuring shows like “The Nerve with Maureen Callahan” and “After Party with Emily Jashinsky.” She has also introduced an “MK True Crime” initiative, offering legal analysis and live trial coverage with expert contributors.

Overall, Megyn Kelly’s move to SiriusXM represents a shift towards more independent and uncensored media platforms, catering to audiences seeking alternative perspectives and authentic conversations. Her new channel is expected to provide listeners with engaging content and trusted news coverage.
