NY postal worker busted after violently shoving 4-year-old Jewish boy in shocking caught-on-camera attack

A shocking incident in Rockland County has left the community in disbelief after a postal worker was caught on camera violently shoving a 4-year-old Jewish boy to the ground. The disturbing attack was captured on security footage obtained by The Monsey Scoop, showing the young boy approaching a parked mail truck before the USPS carrier aggressively pushed him onto the sidewalk in a Ramapo neighborhood.

The heartless worker then returned to his truck as the small child, knocked onto his back, got up and retrieved his yarmulke that had flown off his head during the assault before walking away. The unidentified mailman was reportedly screaming at nearby children before the youngster approached, leading to his arrest by Ramapo police the following day.

The Stony Point man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and attempted assault in the third degree, both misdemeanors. The incident sparked outrage among local leaders in the predominantly Hasidic and Orthodox Jewish community, who condemned the suspect for harming a child and commended the police for their swift action.

Ramapo Town Supervisor Michael Specht expressed his shock at the video depicting the attack and praised the authorities for taking the matter seriously. State Assemblyman Aron Wieder and State Senator Bill Weber also voiced their concerns, with Weber calling for the USPS worker to face the harshest legal consequences.

The heartless suspect was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. The USPS has not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident. This appalling act of violence has left the community reeling, and residents are calling for justice to be served for the young victim.
