Rapper Key Glock’s entourage busted – with loaded Glocks – on way into Governors Ball: sources

Two members of rapper Key Glock’s entourage found themselves in hot water over the weekend when they were caught trying to enter the Governors Ball music festival with loaded firearms. Joshua Crutcher, 31, and Dion Michaels, 22, both part of the Memphis-based rapper’s crew, were stopped by security as they attempted to enter the VIP area on Sunday.
According to a complaint filed in Queens Criminal Court, Crutcher was found with a .40 caliber Glock 23 firearm in his waistband, loaded with 18 rounds and one in the chamber. Michaels, on the other hand, was driving a silver Ford to the venue when he admitted to the security guard that there was a 9mm Glock 43x firearm in the center console, nearly loaded to capacity with 9 rounds.
In addition to the firearms, a magazine holding 20 9mm rounds of ammunition and a switchblade were also recovered from the vehicle. Both men were hit with various weapon possession charges, including felonies.
During his arraignment, Crutcher was ordered to be held on $10,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond, with a court date set for June 18. Michaels, on the other hand, was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on August 13.
It remains unclear whether Key Glock was present with either of the men as they tried to enter the festival. Born Markeyvius LaShun Cathey and cousin to late Memphis rapper Young Dolph, Key Glock recently released his fourth studio album, “Glockaveli”, and was on tour promoting it. The incident at Governors Ball was part of the Glockaveli tour, which began on May 21 and concludes on June 30, covering 21 cities across the U.S. according to his Instagram posts.
