Renewed With Charlie as New Lead

Get ready to pack your bags and head back to Barry’s Bay because the hit series “Every Year After” has just been renewed for a second season on Amazon Prime Video. The announcement comes less than a month after the show made its debut, much to the delight of fans.

Based on Carley Fortune’s popular novel “Every Summer After,” the first season of the show follows the story of Percy Fraser (played by Sadie Soverall) and Sam Florek (played by Matt Cornett). The two characters navigate a complex journey from friends to lovers to a second chance at romance, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Barry’s Bay.

Season 2 of “Every Year After” will shift its focus to Charlie, Sam’s brother, and will be based on Fortune’s sequel book, “One Golden Summer.” The new season promises to continue exploring the beloved characters and storylines from the first season while introducing new twists and turns.

Showrunner Amy B. Harris will be returning for Season 2, along with a talented team of executive producers including Carley Fortune, Lindsey Liberatore, Amy Rardin, John Stephens, and Grace Gilroy.
