‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Finale to Screen in Alamo Drafthouse Movie Theaters
“The Pitt” Set to Premiere Season 2 Finale in Theaters
HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television have announced a special partnership with Alamo Drafthouse to host advance screenings of the Season 2 finale of the hit medical drama, “The Pitt.” The screenings are scheduled to take place on April 13 at 10 different Alamo Drafthouse locations across the country, just a few days before the episode airs on HBO Max on April 16.
These screenings are being held as healthcare appreciation events, with current and former healthcare workers being encouraged to attend. However, tickets are available to all interested viewers. While the admission to the screenings is free, seats can be reserved on the Alamo Drafthouse website by purchasing a $10 food and drink voucher.
The participating Alamo Drafthouse locations include theaters in major cities such as New York City, Boston, Raleigh, Dallas, Austin, Denver, San Francisco, Twin Cities, and Los Angeles.
“The Pitt” follows the lives of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center during a single shift. Season 1 of the show was set on the day of a mass shooting at a music festival, while Season 2 takes place over Independence Day Weekend. The ensemble cast is led by Noah Wyle and includes talented actors such as Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, and Fiona Dourif.
The series was created by R. Scott Gemmill, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Noah Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich. Warner Bros. Television is the studio behind the production.
