Trump Admits To ‘Terrible Mistake’ And Critics Predict What’s Next

Donald Trump’s critics have suggested that his latest remarks indicate what may be next in line for renaming in his honor, and also demonstrate his eagerness to put his name on everything while in office.

During the signing of a peace agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo at the U.S. Institute of Peace, which was recently rebranded for Trump by the State Department, the president made a humorous gaffe while promoting the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup draw at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

“You have a big event on Friday at the Trump-Kennedy Center,” Trump mistakenly stated.

He quickly corrected himself, saying, “Oh, excuse me, at the Kennedy Center.”

Trump chuckled and then added, jokingly apologetic: “Pardon me, such a terrible mistake.”
