Rising country star Tucker Wetmore has released a new track where he sings about a lady in his life who he feels has been treating him poorly, and it turns out that he’s referring to his model ex!
In his latest single “Proving Me Right,” Wetmore expresses his frustrations with a woman who has been playing games with him, singing lyrics like “Yeah, I saw what you was just chasin’/Queen bee, the game that you’re playin’/Ain’t worth the whiskey I wasted” and “Keep on doin’ me wrong now, baby / Bout time they get to know ya, baby.”
According to sources, the song is believed to be inspired by Wetmore’s former girlfriend, Bryana Ferringer, a Nashville-based model who recently ended their relationship and is now dating another country star, Riley Green.
The cover art of the single is said to symbolize Wetmore and Ferringer’s relationship, as the truck featured in the music video “Wind Up Missin’ You” is the same one that appeared in their past together.
While some may interpret the lyrics as throwing shade, sources close to Wetmore clarify that he is simply highlighting a pattern he observed in his ex’s behavior, particularly her associations with country artists.
TMZ has reached out to Tucker’s team for further comments but has not received a response yet.
