Warner Bros. Sells ‘All That We Never Were’ and ‘Ask Me What I Want’
Warner Bros.’ Spanish romantic dramas “All That We Never Were” and “Ask Me What You Want” have made significant sales deals, according to international sales agent FilmSharks.
The romantic drama “All That We Never Were” (“Todo lo que Nunca Fuimos”) has sold all North American rights to Berlin-based Capelight Pictures, with plans for a limited theatrical release. Leading Russian distributor Nasche Kino has acquired rights for Germany, Austria, and Russia/CIS. The film, directed by Jorge Alonso and starring Spanish actor Maxi Iglesias, is set to be released in Spain on June 6. The story follows Leah, a young aspiring painter trying to cope with the loss of her parents in a tragic accident.
On the other hand, the French-speaking territories rights for the erotic romance “Ask Me What You Want” (“Pideme lo que quieras”) have been acquired by Mediawan, while Blue Swan has secured the rights for Italy. The rest of the world has already been sold. The film revolves around a powerful businessman who embarks on a dangerously seductive affair with a spirited young woman after his father’s death.
