West Virginia couple pulled over after cops spot them having sex while drunk driving stolen RV
A bizarre incident in West Virginia has left authorities stunned after a couple was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and engaging in sexual activity while behind the wheel of a stolen RV. Shannon Bryant, 35, and Matthew McDonnell, 48, were caught by police in Bluefield, West Virginia, in a compromising position, totally nude and intoxicated.
According to a criminal complaint, the couple was pulled over by police while driving the stolen RV. Officers observed Bryant straddling McDonnell in the driver’s seat as the vehicle was in motion. When approached by the police, McDonnell pretended to be innocent while Bryant openly admitted to engaging in sexual activity while driving.
The couple was ordered out of the vehicle, and McDonnell confessed that they were both naked and attempting to have sex while on the road. A search of the RV revealed drug paraphernalia, including a bag of white powder, painkillers, and a broken glass pipe that was thrown out of the window during the stop. The RV was also discovered to be stolen from a nearby city.
Bryant and McDonnell were charged with indecent exposure, drug possession, DUI, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Despite being caught in the act and confessing to their actions, the couple pleaded not guilty. McDonnell, who has a prior criminal record and an outstanding warrant in Virginia, is being held on an $8,000 bond.
