Ed Harris Joins the Cast of “The Dutton Ranch” Spinoff

Ed Harris has been confirmed to star in “The Dutton Ranch,” the highly anticipated spinoff of the hit series “Yellowstone” that will focus on the characters Rip and Beth. Harris joins an impressive cast that includes Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Finn Little, and Annette Bening.

The show’s official synopsis teases that Beth and Rip will navigate through tough times and fierce competition on their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch while guiding young Carter to become the man he is destined to be.

Harris will portray Everett McKinney, a seasoned veterinarian known for his compassionate treatment of animals and sharp sense of humor.

With an impressive TV and film resume, Harris is no stranger to award recognition. He has previously starred in HBO’s “Westworld,” earning an Emmy nomination in 2018. His notable film roles include “The Hours,” “Pollock,” “The Truman Show,” and “Apollo 13,” for which he received Academy Award nominations. Harris also made his mark as a director with projects like “Pollock” and “Appaloosa.”

Harris is represented by CAA and Ziffren Brittenham.

“The Dutton Ranch” will be helmed by showrunner Chad Feehan, with Taylor Sheridan serving as executive producer alongside a talented team including David C. Glasser, John Linson, and Art Linson. The series is a collaboration between Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
