‘They will never sink our ships again!’

President Trump recently shared a video of a US military airstrike against Houthi terrorists in Yemen, showing the aftermath of a powerful bomb blast. The footage, believed to be captured by a drone, depicts around 70 individuals gathered in an oval formation, with one person at the center. Suddenly, a massive explosion occurs, creating a fireball and a dark plume of smoke.

The scene unfolds in a remote location, with several vehicles visible near the site of the gathering. Following the explosion, numerous bodies lie motionless on the ground, surrounded by a large crater. Trump stated that the target of the airstrike was a group of Houthi terrorists who were allegedly planning an attack. He shared the video on his Truth Social account, emphasizing that the terrorists will not be able to carry out their planned assault.

The exact date of the airstrike remains unknown, and neither US Central Command nor the White House has provided comments on the incident. Trump’s decision to continue striking the Houthis stems from their repeated attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea since 2023, causing disruptions along the critical Suez Canal trade route.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared that the Iran-backed Houthi terrorists have suffered significant losses due to ongoing strikes. He reiterated his commitment to targeting the group until they cease threatening shipping routes and regional stability. Trump warned the Houthis to stop attacking US ships, or face escalating military actions.

The Houthis claim that 58 individuals have been killed since the US initiated its airstrike campaign on March 15. The military’s plans for strikes were accidentally revealed to journalist Jeffrey Goldberg prior to the operation, when National Security Adviser Mike Waltz added him to a group chat with other officials.

In January, Trump reclassified the Houthis as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, underscoring the seriousness of the group’s actions. The situation in Yemen remains volatile, with the US determined to protect freedom of navigation in the region by targeting those who pose a threat to maritime security.
