Kevin Garnett, Girlfriend Involved In Heated Dispute, Cops Called

Kevin Garnett and his girlfriend found themselves in a heated argument towards the end of last month, prompting a call to law enforcement. However, both parties have clarified that the situation did not escalate to a dangerous level.

Sources close to the incident revealed to TMZ Sports that Garnett’s girlfriend, Teare Candelier, contacted 911 just before 2 AM on April 27 to report a domestic dispute at their residence in the Los Angeles area.

Although Garnett had left the scene by the time officers arrived, a report was filed. It was noted that Candelier declined medical assistance when offered by the authorities.

Insiders familiar with the incident stated that Garnett attempted to exit the premises to de-escalate the situation, gently moving Candelier out of a doorway. However, the altercation did not turn physical beyond that point.

Both Garnett and Candelier expressed regret over involving law enforcement in their private disagreement, releasing a joint statement acknowledging their mistake.

“We deeply regret that a personal disagreement escalated and inappropriately involved authorities,” they stated. “It was never our intention to involve others in a moment that should have remained private.”

“Like most couples,” they continued, “we have disagreements, but our commitment to each other remains strong, and we move forward with renewed respect, understanding, and love.”
