‘The Simpsons’ and Lego to Release New Krusty Burger Set

Lego is taking fans of “The Simpsons” back to Springfield with their latest high-end, adult-targeted set. In collaboration with 20th Television Animation and the Walt Disney Co., Lego is set to release a new set inspired by the iconic Krusty Burger fast food restaurant from the beloved animated series.

This new Lego creation joins previous sets based on “The Simpsons,” such as the Simpson family home and the Kwik-E-Mart. The Krusty Burger set, part of the Lego Icons line, features 1,635 pieces and includes intricate details like the restaurant’s kitchen, dining area, restroom, drive-thru, and outdoor pole sign.

One of the highlights of the set is a replica of Homer’s clown car, which lifts its roof and unfolds to reveal a highly detailed interior filled with Easter eggs and memorable features. Additionally, the set includes seven minifigures: Homer, Bart, and Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty, Sideshow Bob, Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou.

Lego Insiders will have early access to the Krusty Burger set on June 1, with wider availability starting on June 4. The set is priced at $209.99. In addition, Lego Insiders who purchase the set between June 1 and June 7 from Lego stores or the website will receive a bonus gift: The Simpsons Living Room set. This 123-piece set, designed for players 10 and older, includes the Simpson family couch, a table with a lamp and phone, a rug, a remote control, and a Krusty Burger drink. The living room also features the iconic sailboat painting and a Krusty Burger ad on the TV screen, all to scale for minifigures.

Fans of “The Simpsons” and Lego enthusiasts alike will surely be excited to add the Krusty Burger set to their collection. With its attention to detail and nostalgic elements, this set is a must-have for any fan of the long-running animated series.
