Bandimere Speedway acquires initial land for new track site

The Bandimere Family Acquires Land for New Racing Venue in Hudson
The owners of Bandimere Speedway have taken a significant step towards establishing a new location for the iconic racing venue by acquiring their first parcel of land in the Hudson area of Weld County. John C. Bandimere Jr., Chief Spiritual Officer of Bandimere Speedway, shared in a social media video post that this endeavor has been a challenging and lengthy process.
This initial transaction is part of a larger plan to secure approximately 1,100 acres for the new venue, a substantial increase from their previous location in Morrison. Zoning and annexation of the new land are forthcoming, with details to be disclosed at a later date.
Following 65 years of operation in Morrison, the Bandimere family made the decision to relocate due to ongoing development in the area and the need for additional space. Bandimere Jr. expressed gratitude for the time spent at their former site, emphasizing that the land ultimately belongs to a higher power.
The new race track’s exact address in Hudson is yet to be finalized, but reports suggest that the family purchased a 114.45-acre tract near the northwest corner of Interstate 76 and Colorado 52 for $3 million. Bandimere Speedway representatives confirmed the general location but did not provide further specifics.
Founded in 1958 by John Bandimere Sr., the Speedway originally served as a safe environment for young car enthusiasts to learn and race. The former property in Morrison was recently sold to Copart, an automobile auction firm, for $51 million.
