Starbucks is changing how it charges for matcha and syrups. Here’s what to know.

In addition to these changes, Starbucks will now charge $1 for adding a scoop of matcha powder to non-matcha drinks, and 50 cents to include dried fruit in a beverage. Customers can still enjoy the classic syrup at no additional cost, which is a liquid sugar similar to simple syrup. These changes reflect Starbucks’ ongoing commitment to meeting customer needs and enhancing the overall experience at its stores.
