Knife-wielding robbery suspect on e-bike hit and killed by car during NYC police chase

A robbery suspect armed with a knife met a tragic end after being struck by a car while trying to escape on an e-bike during a dramatic chase that started in Queens and ended in Long Island, according to police reports.

The incident unfolded at 256-17 Hillside Avenue around 8:01 p.m. when authorities responded to reports of an armed robbery. The suspect fled the scene on a motorized bicycle as law enforcement arrived on the scene.

The pursuit culminated at Lakeview Road and Bryant Avenue in Nassau County, where the suspect was hit by a Lexus, sustaining severe injuries. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the suspect, including his name and age, has not been disclosed by the police.
