In-N-Out heiress Lynsi Snyder reveals she’s moving family out of California as company expands east
In-N-Out Heiress Lynsi Snyder Moving Family from California to Tennessee
In-N-Out Burger heiress Lynsi Snyder, who has served as the company’s president since 2010, has announced that she is relocating her family from California to Tennessee. This move comes as the popular burger chain expands its presence in the eastern part of the country.
“There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here,” Snyder shared on Allie Beth Stuckey’s “Relatable” podcast. “Doing business is not easy here.”
The company plans to close its Irvine, California headquarters by 2030 and return to its office in Baldwin Park. Despite this, Snyder mentioned that the majority of their stores will remain in California.
Snyder, a mother of four, will be moving to Franklin, Tennessee, where the company is building a new office. In September 2024, In-N-Out broke ground on a 100,000-square-foot office building in Franklin, with plans to open its first Tennessee restaurants by 2026.
While Snyder has rejected invitations to open locations in Florida and on the East Coast, she hinted at possible future expansions. The company will continue to deliver from its Texas warehouse to reach other states.
Snyder also shared the challenges faced by In-N-Out in California, including issues related to crime and pandemic restrictions. Despite these challenges, Snyder remains committed to the company’s values and growth.
As In-N-Out continues to expand and navigate the changing landscape of the fast-food industry, Snyder’s leadership and vision play a crucial role in shaping the future of the iconic burger chain.
