Supernatural Reunion, Seth Rogen and Homelander

“The Boys” Teaser Revealed at San Diego Comic Con

The highly anticipated fifth and final season of “The Boys” made a splash at San Diego Comic Con, following the excitement of the “Gen V” Season 2 panel. Fans were treated to the very first teaser of the upcoming season, showcasing the trademark superhero violence and gore that the series is known for. The teaser also offered quick glimpses of new and returning cast members, building anticipation for what’s to come.

One of the standout moments in the teaser was a new supe character vomiting up a bloody hairball onto another character, as well as a violent explosion in a bathroom stall. Seth Rogen, an executive producer on the show, made a cameo appearance, along with newcomers Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, both of whom played mysterious characters. The inclusion of Padalecki and Collins marks another “Supernatural” reunion on “The Boys,” as showrunner Eric Kripke has already brought in Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan from the popular CW series.

Antony Starr’s Homelander delivered a powerful declaration in the teaser, asserting that the nation is now “safer” and “more god-fearing.” With Homelander’s rise to power in the White House, the country is under martial law, with dissenters facing consequences. The teaser also hinted at a crossover with “Gen V,” as London Thor was spotted as a Godolkin University student. The synergy between the two shows continues with cast members appearing in each other’s series.

The final season of “The Boys” will see the return of familiar faces such as Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, and Karen Fukuhara, as well as new additions like Daveed Diggs and Paul Reiser. The season is set to release in 2026, promising more action, drama, and dark humor for fans to enjoy. Stay tuned for more updates on the thrilling conclusion of “The Boys” as the countdown to Season 5 begins.
