‘Paradise’ Season 2 Clip With Shailene Woodley Debuts at Comic-Con
Fans of the hit show “Paradise” were in for a treat at San Diego Comic-Con as they were given a sneak peek of the upcoming second season, which includes new star Shailene Woodley. The creator of the show, Dan Fogelman, along with series star Sterling K. Brown, introduced the audience to the first footage from the Season 2 premiere. The clip, shown exclusively to attendees in the Indigo Ballroom, introduces Woodley’s character, a tour guide at Elvis Presley’s Graceland. She is knowledgeable about the King of Rock and Roll and has a knack for humor, as seen in her joke about a bus full of Elvis impersonators. The clip also hints at a looming disaster that will change the world as we know it, leading Woodley and her co-worker to gather supplies, including Elvis’ historic revolver, and seek shelter in the basement of the historic home.
After the clip, Brown brought Woodley on stage, who expressed her excitement and nerves about the intense sequence. Not much has been revealed about Woodley’s role in the show, but Fogelman praised her performance, calling it a “tour de force.” Brown also shared some insights about what to expect in Season 2 during an interview at the Comic Con Variety Studio.
Fans can look forward to seeing Woodley’s “outstanding” performance in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more updates and surprises as Season 2 of “Paradise” unfolds.
