United Airlines grounds flights nationwide over technology issue

United Airlines experienced a nationwide grounding of flights on Wednesday night due to an issue with its weight and balance computer system. The airline released a statement acknowledging the technology issue and informing passengers that mainline flights were being held at departure airports.
