6 wounded, including 5-year-old girl, in Baltimore ‘mass shooting’: Police
Six people, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured in a mass shooting that took place in a Baltimore neighborhood on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Spaulding and Queensberry Avenues, where a group of people had gathered outside to eat.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley provided details about the victims, stating that the young girl was struck in the hand but thankfully her injury did not appear to be serious. In addition to the child, a 38-year-old man is in critical condition, while a 23-year-old woman and three men aged 32, 33, and 52 were also wounded in the shooting.
Authorities have not yet released any information about the suspect responsible for the shooting. Worley mentioned that there were multiple rounds fired and multiple victims, indicating the severity of the situation.
According to Worley, the victims were enjoying a meal of crabs outside when the shooting occurred. It was a sudden and senseless act of violence that left the community in shock.
