Over the years, the arrival date for Starbucks’ fall menu has crept earlier into August, aligning more closely with the start of autumn. At the heart of the coffee giant’s fall offerings is the Pumpkin Spice Latte, a seasonal favorite that has been delighting customers for over 20 years. Comprising espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, whipped cream, and pumpkin pie spice, the PSL has become the most popular seasonal beverage in Starbucks’ history. Since its introduction in 2003, the company has sold hundreds of millions of Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol expressed his excitement for the fall program during the coffee chain’s recent earnings call, stating, “I, like many customers, love the Pumpkin Spice Latte.” In addition to the PSL, Starbucks is introducing new offerings like Pecan Cold Foam, building on the success of similar menu items introduced last year. Cold Foam has emerged as one of Starbucks’ most popular add-ons, with a 23% year-over-year growth. The company also announced a new banana-flavored protein variety in June.
