Gabriel Iglesias and Lori Greiner to Guest Star in “Shifting Gears” Season 2
Gabriel Iglesias and Lori Greiner are set to guest star in the upcoming season 2 of “Shifting Gears,” as exclusively reported by Variety. The ABC multi-cam comedy is scheduled to return on Oct. 1 on ABC and will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day. The show stars Tim Allen and Kat Dennings, along with Seann William Scott, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis.
Joining Iglesias and Greiner as guest stars in Season 2 are Patricia Richardson, Debbe Dunning, Richard Karn, Lilly Singh, and Mookie Betts. Nancy Travis and Jenna Elfman will also make appearances.
This marks the second onscreen collaboration between Iglesias and Allen, following Iglesias’ appearance in Allen’s Disney+ series “The Santa Clauses.” Greiner, known for her role in “Shark Tank,” previously played herself on the ABC series “Dr. Ken.”
In addition to his successful stand-up career, Iglesias has made a name for himself in acting, starring in shows like “Mr. Iglesias” and films such as “Magic Mike” and “Space Jam: A New Legacy.” Greiner, on the other hand, is best known for her entrepreneurship and appearances on various television shows.
“Shifting Gears” follows the story of Matt, the owner of a classic car restoration shop, as he navigates the challenges of working alongside his estranged daughter and her children.
Executive producers for the show include Tim Allen, Michelle Nader, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and more. Kat Dennings also serves as a producer on the series.
