Warehouse in Denver sells for $1.9M in RiNo neighborhood
A historic warehouse in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood sells for nearly $1.9 million
Located at 3440 Walnut St., this 6,000-square-foot warehouse on a 6,250-square-foot lot recently changed hands for just under $1.9 million. The buyer, Mountain Peak Holdings LLC, led by Richard Anderson, acquired the property. The seller, 3440 Walnut Property LLC, had purchased it in 2016 for $885,000.
The warehouse, which dates back almost 90 years, was previously home to Frisian Motors, a unique “used-car dealership in an art gallery.” The space offers a versatile layout suitable for both industrial and retail purposes.
Surrounded by new developments, the warehouse now sits next to the eight-story Paradigm office building, owned by Francois Safieddine. Across the street, a 13-story apartment complex has replaced the concrete lot with slabs of quartz and granite.
Paul Cattin, a broker with Platinum CRE, described the property as a “cool, open warehouse type space in RiNo,” noting that it generated interest but lacked substantial offers when listed for sale around $2 million in 2024.
Despite being vacant, the warehouse’s prime location in the evolving RiNo neighborhood continues to attract attention from potential investors and developers.
