Netflix has released the first look at Season 4 of “The Witcher,” the fantasy drama series adapted from CD Projekt Red’s video game franchise and Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels of the same name. The eight-episode season will arrive on Netflix on Oct. 30.

After three seasons with Henry Cavill portraying the white-haired protagonist Geralt, the actor announced his departure from the series in October 2022. Joining Hemsworth in the cast are familiar faces such as Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey, along with new additions like Laurence Fishburne and Eamon Farren. The ensemble cast promises a thrilling continuation of the adventures in the world of “The Witcher.”

Season 4 will be the penultimate season of the series, with Season 5 marking the conclusion of the epic saga. Shot back-to-back, the two remaining seasons have three novels’ worth of material to cover, promising fans a satisfying conclusion to the story.
