VFW reaches deal to sell cannabis-infused Torch Drinks to vets
Veterans of Foreign Wars to Offer Cannabis-Infused Cocktails to Members
A groundbreaking partnership between the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Torch Drinks, a Florida-based beverage company, will bring cannabis-infused cocktails to VFW’s 1.4 million members nationwide.
The collaboration will see low-dose spiked seltzers containing Delta-9 THC, a psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis plants, available at VFW posts later this year in states where it is approved.
Proceeds from the sales of Torch’s pot-infused sips at VFW posts will go towards supporting struggling veterans financially.
The hemp-derived Delta-9 THC used in Torch’s products ensures that the THC content is below the legal limit of 0.3%, making it a safe option for VFW members.
VFW National Commander Carol Whitmore expressed the organization’s commitment to providing care and support to veterans and their families through this innovative partnership.
Collin Kerrigan, co-founder of Torch Beverage Company, emphasized the relaxation and revitalization benefits of their products, especially for veterans who may benefit from them.
