Vogue World: Hollywood 2025 Lights Up Paramount Studios Lot in LA
Vogue World took center stage at the iconic Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles on Sunday night for a fashion show extravaganza like no other. The event, officially titled Vogue World: Hollywood 2025, featured designer looks inspired by the incredible work of Hollywood’s most celebrated costume designers.
Design houses like McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, ALAÏA, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, and Balmain collaborated with renowned costume designers such as Colleen Atwood, Milena Canonero, Ruth E. Carter, Catherine Martin, Arianne Phillips, Sandy Powell, Jacqueline West, and Shirley Kurata to create a stunning runway show that left attendees in awe.
Directed by Baz Luhrmann, the fashion show was a pseudo film shoot with Nicole Kidman kicking off the show in a sleek black gown that exuded elegance and sophistication. Celebrity models like Ayo Edebiri, Greta Lee, Jeff Goldblum, sombr, Julia Garner, Jeremy Pope, and Tyriq Withers graced the runway, showcasing the exquisite designs with style and grace.
The highlight of the evening came when Angela Bassett took the stage, reprising her role as Queen Ramonda from the “Black Panther” franchise. Wearing one of the iconic gowns from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Bassett captivated the audience with her regal presence and timeless beauty.
The star-studded event drew a guest list that included Miley Cyrus, Cynthia Erivo, Hailey Bieber, Tracee Ellis Ross, Lizzo, Henry Golding, mgk, Demi Lovato, Kathryn Hahn, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Olivia Munn, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Hudson, Camila Mendes, Chloe Fineman, Mandy Moore, and Juliette Lewis.
Gracie Abrams and Doja Cat provided the musical entertainment for the evening, adding to the electrifying atmosphere of the show. Benito Skinner and Rachel Sennott, who were in attendance, couldn’t contain their excitement, describing the experience as “fantastic” and “electrifying.”
