Show Says It ‘Sucks Now’ Because of Politics
The latest Halloween episode of “South Park” took a meta approach, with Stan expressing the frustration of some fans over the show’s recent political storylines. In a clever twist, Stan proposes creating a cryptocurrency called South Park Sucks to address this issue. Kyle’s cousin Kyle Schwartz is then sent to seek protection for this memecoin scheme from none other than President Trump.
Meanwhile, in a parallel storyline, Trump enlists the help of Attorney General Pam Bondi to conduct a seance in order to rid himself of a mysterious entity haunting the White House, which turns out to be his wife Melania. Additionally, FCC chairman Brendan Carr appears as a Mummy after supposedly “losing his freedom of speech,” as referenced by Stephen Miller.
The Halloween special, titled “The Woman in the Hat,” aired on Friday night, two days later than usual. Despite some delays and schedule changes, upcoming episodes of “South Park” are set to follow a biweekly release schedule, with dates confirmed for Nov. 12, Nov. 26, and Dec. 10.
In the previous episode, the focus was on Trump’s strained relationship with his pregnant partner, Satan, as well as the viral “6-7” TikTok trend that swept through South Park Elementary. This led to Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel embarking on a quest to find the Antichrist.
Fans can expect more outrageous and timely satire from “South Park” in the coming episodes, as the show continues to push boundaries and tackle current events in its own unique way. Stay tuned for the next installment of animated mayhem from the creators of “South Park.”
