Yash Raj Films, a renowned Bollywood studio, has entered into a significant partnership with Netflix to bring a treasure trove of classic Hindi films to streaming subscribers worldwide. This collaboration will see the release of YRF titles in strategic phases, tied to festivals, special occasions, and cinematic milestones, making beloved Bollywood films accessible to fans across the globe from the comfort of their homes.
The rollout of this partnership begins on November 1, coinciding with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. Nine iconic YRF films starring Khan, such as “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” “Mohabbatein,” and “Chak De India,” will be available for streaming. Following this, on November 14, additional classic titles including “Chandni,” “Kabhi Kabhie,” and “Vijay” will become accessible to viewers.
During the holiday season, a daily release schedule will feature 34 films, with titles like “Bunty Aur Babli,” “Hum Tum,” and “Ta Ra Rum Pum” premiering two per day from December 12 to 28. Additionally, three Salman Khan blockbusters will stream on December 27 in honor of the actor’s birthday.
The partnership between Yash Raj Films and Netflix extends into 2026, with a Valentine’s week collection launching on February 7. This collection will include romantic titles like “Saathiya,” “Ishaqzaade,” and “Salaam Namaste.” Popular franchises such as the “Dhoom” trilogy and Rani Mukerji’s “Mardaani” series are also part of the deal.
