New Photo of Tatiana Schlossberg’s Family Shared After Her Death

A recent photo of Tatiana Schlossberg has been shared online, a week after her passing at the age of 35. The JFK Library Foundation posted the heartfelt image on Instagram, showing Tatiana with her husband George Moran and their two young children, Edwin and Josephine. The picture was taken in September 2025 on Martha’s Vineyard, showcasing Tatiana’s bright smile despite her short hair, likely a result of her cancer treatment.

Tatiana, an environmental journalist and granddaughter of President John F. Kennedy, bravely disclosed her terminal cancer diagnosis in November 2025. In an emotional essay for The New Yorker, she revealed her battle with acute myeloid leukemia and the devastating prognosis of having only a year to live. Despite her shocking diagnosis, Tatiana remained resilient and dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.

The Instagram post also included a quote from Tatiana’s book, “Inconspicuous Consumption,” emphasizing the importance of taking action to protect the planet for future generations. She eloquently expressed the challenges and responsibilities we face in creating a better world for those to come.

Throughout her health journey, Tatiana’s main concern was her children. She reflected on the limited time she had with them due to her illness, expressing sorrow over not being able to fully care for her daughter during her first year of life. Tatiana also expressed deep gratitude for her husband, acknowledging his unwavering support and love during her battle with cancer.

In addition to her husband and children, Tatiana is survived by her mother Caroline Kennedy, father Edwin Schlossberg, and siblings Jack and Rose. Her legacy as a dedicated environmental advocate and loving family member will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

The world mourns the loss of Tatiana Schlossberg, but her memory and impact will live on through her powerful words, actions, and the love she shared with her family. May she rest in peace.
