Jane Lynch, Eric Stonestreet to Join NBC’s ‘Happy’s Place’
NBC’s “Happy’s Place” is set to welcome two new guest stars in the upcoming episodes of its second season. Actors Jane Lynch and Eric Stonestreet will be joining the cast when the show resumes on January 16.
Jane Lynch, known for her roles in “Glee” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” will play Valerie, the mother of Melissa Peterman’s character, Gabby. Lynch’s character will visit her daughter for the first time and reveal an unexpected secret. With a long list of credits including Emmy Awards, SAG Awards, and a Golden Globe, Lynch is sure to deliver a memorable performance in her guest role on the show.
Eric Stonestreet, best known for his role as Cameron Tucker on “Modern Family,” will portray Dr. Russell Peabody III, an unconventional therapist who tries to help resolve conflicts between Bobbie (Reba McEntire) and Isabella (Belissa Escobedo). Stonestreet’s comedic talent and on-screen presence are sure to bring a new dynamic to the series.
“Happy’s Place” premiered its first season in October 2024 and began its second season in November 2025. The show follows a woman who inherits her father’s Tennessee bar and discovers that her business partner is her long-lost, younger half-sister. Starring Reba McEntire, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn, the series was created by Julie Abbott and Kevin Abbott. Executive producers include Kevin Abbott, Reba McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry, and Pamela Fryman. Universal Television Group produces the show for NBC.
