Piers Morgan finds himself in a hospital bed after a nasty fall, resulting in a fresh hip.
The television personality took to social media to announce that he is recuperating in a London medical facility following an accident at a dining establishment. The incident led to a severe femur fracture necessitating a hip replacement.
Morgan turned to X to share his progress, attaching a photo from his hospital bed and recounting the mishap involving a small step at a restaurant. He humorously remarked that the New Year had already kicked off with a bang.
What seemed like a minor stumble turned out to have serious repercussions. Morgan disclosed that the fall resulted in a severe femur fracture, compelling surgeons to perform a hip replacement.
Currently in the recovery phase, Morgan anticipates being reliant on crutches for six weeks and restricted from long-haul travel for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Despite the ordeal, Morgan couldn’t resist injecting some humor into the situation, quipping, “I’m pointing the finger at Donald Trump,” alongside a thumbs-up selfie from his hospital bed.
Morgan also provided a glimpse of his X-ray displaying the extent of the fracture.
Although a misstep led to a hospital visit, it certainly didn’t dim Piers Morgan’s sense of humor.
