An adult male was reportedly shot and injured by a federal law enforcement agent in Minneapolis on Saturday morning.
Governor Tim Walz confirmed the shooting and expressed his concerns. He mentioned that he had spoken to the White House about the incident, although there has been no public response yet. Walz emphasized, “Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.”
The City of Minneapolis acknowledged the reports of the shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave.
Mayor Jacob Frey reiterated his demand for ICE to leave the city and state immediately. He announced plans to hold a press conference later on Saturday morning to address the situation.
TMZ reached out to the Department of Homeland Security for a comment on the incident, but there has been no response so far.
