Beta Film Secures Global Distribution Rights for Thriller Series “Westend Girl” Starring Helena Zengel

Beta Film has recently acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the upcoming thriller series “Westend Girl,” featuring the talented actress Helena Zengel in the lead role. Zengel, known for her performances in acclaimed films such as “News of the World” and “The Legend of Ochi,” takes on the challenging role of teenager Ronja in this gripping six-hour series.

Set to be showcased at the Berlinale Series Market event Up Next: Germany, “Westend Girl” follows the story of Ronja, a young girl whose life takes a drastic turn when her parents are arrested for drug trafficking. Suddenly forced to navigate a world filled with uncertainty and betrayal, Ronja must confront harsh realities and make difficult choices as her once idyllic existence crumbles before her eyes.
