Kathryn Bernardo, Nadech Kugimiya Lead Netflix’s Southeast Asian Slate

Netflix has recently announced its exciting 2026 Southeast Asian content lineup, featuring some of the region’s most prominent stars such as Kathryn Bernardo, Anne Curtis, and Nadech Kugimiya. The slate includes a diverse range of original films and series spanning across three territories.

In the Philippines, Kathryn Bernardo takes the lead in the romantic thriller series “Someone, Someday” alongside James Reid and Maja Salvador. Directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu, the series follows a dating app CEO who unknowingly befriends someone seeking revenge, putting her company, family, and personal life at risk.

Anne Curtis stars in Erik Matti’s action-packed series “BuyBust: The Undesirables” with Gerald Anderson, portraying a vengeful ex-cop and corporate outcast who join forces to take down a ruthless drug lord in a lawless dystopian city.

Other Filipino offerings include Dingdong Dantes in “The Master Cutter,” a crime thriller directed by Dominic Zapata about a former scout ranger-turned-tailor dealing with criminal ties, and Jodi Sta Maria and Agot Isidro in “Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon,” a family drama directed by Cholo H. Laurel.

Moving on to Thailand, Nadech Kugimiya stars in “The Debt Collector,” a revenge thriller directed by Surapong Ploensang, where he plays a former debt collector battling against a terminal illness to seek justice for loan shark victims.

Thai actress Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul appears in two titles: “My Dearest Assassin,” an action film directed by Taweewat Wantha, and “Empress of Flames,” a period series directed by Sivaroj Kongsakul.

The Thai slate also includes Rhatha Phongam in “The Evil Lawyer,” a legal thriller directed by Nottapon Boonprakob, where a young lawyer accused of murder teams up with the infamous “Evil Lawyer” to clear his name.

In Indonesia, the lineup features a variety of genres with ensemble casts. Titles include Teddy Soeria Atmadja’s culinary romance series “Made With Love,” Monica Vanesa Tedja’s K-pop rivalry series “Night Shift for Cuties,” Gina S. Noer’s father-son drama “Me Before Me,” Ravi Bharwani’s thriller “Secrets,” and Sidharta Tata’s action film “Never Surrender.”
