Inside the NYC condo building where Jeffrey Epstein secretly kept his underage victims

The recently unsealed records have shed light on a disturbing aspect of Jeffrey Epstein’s operations – a building located just 10 blocks away from his infamous Upper East Side townhouse. 301 E. 66th St., a 16-story condo with a 24-hour doorman, served as a logistical hub for Epstein’s activities, including the trafficking of underage girls.

The building housed more than a dozen apartments that were used to accommodate Epstein’s guests, staff, and the young girls he trafficked. Some units were marked as “Apts. for models” in Epstein’s address book, indicating their purpose in the illicit operation. One victim described arriving at the building and being shown to a small apartment stocked with amenities like yogurt, fruit, and cookies before being taken to Epstein’s townhouse for a massage.

According to civil complaints and sworn testimony, the apartments at 301 E. 66th St. were used to house young models brought from overseas on promises of work. Visas were arranged, rent was charged, and other benefits like car service were provided to secure compliance. Emails obtained from the files reveal detailed instructions for collecting the girls from the building and delivering them to Epstein’s townhouse.

The ownership structure of the building is tied to Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, who owns a majority of the units through his company, Ossa Properties. Despite denying operational knowledge of his brother’s activities, internal emails show that Jeffrey Epstein was closely involved in the management and renovation of the units.

The building hosted a diverse range of high-profile guests, including former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss, and physician Peter Attia. The apartments were renovated and standardized, with systematic upgrades and controlled maintenance. Epstein maintained a discreet hospitality suite, offering free stays to keep influential figures in his debt.

Today, 301 E. 66th Street appears as a typical Upper East Side condo building, with no units currently listed for sale. Mark Epstein continues to control a significant portion of the building’s units and remains involved in local development disputes. The dark history of the building as a hub for Epstein’s illicit activities serves as a chilling reminder of the horrors that took place within its walls.
