Stalkers found guilty for following ICE agent home and livestreaming their act

Two individuals who aspired to be anti-ICE influencers have been found guilty of stalking an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent at his California home and live-streaming the event on Instagram. Cynthia Raygoza, 38, of Riverside, and Ashleigh Brown, 38, of Aurora, Colorado, were convicted by a Los Angeles federal jury on Friday for stalking the ICE agent by following him to his residence last year.

In August of 2025, Brown and Raygoza live-streamed themselves on social media as they followed the ICE agent from the LA field office to his home, providing directions and encouraging others to share the live stream. Once they arrived at the agent’s home, they got out of their vehicle wearing masks and began yelling and shouting to bystanders phrases like “neighbor is ICE,” “la migra lives here,” and “ICE lives on your street and you should know,” as per US Attorney Bill Essayli.

The two women also reportedly shouted racial slurs at the victim’s wife, with the victim’s children witnessing the entire incident. The jury found them guilty of these actions, bringing justice to the agitators who violated the law and endangered the safety of the federal officer and his family.

The two individuals face up to five years in federal prison, with their sentencing hearing scheduled for June 8. This incident occurred amidst a surge in attacks against immigration officers across the nation. In September, an anti-ICE gunman opened fire on federal officers at a Dallas field office, highlighting the escalating violence against ICE personnel.

The Department of Homeland Security reported a 1,000% increase in assaults against ICE officers, with incidents like bomb threats and shootings targeting ICE facilities. The anti-ICE rioting in Los Angeles last summer resulted in numerous charges from the Los Angeles District Attorney and is expected to cost over $32 million in emergency response and property damage expenses.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by ICE agents and the importance of upholding the law while engaging in peaceful protests. It underscores the need to differentiate between constitutionally protected demonstrations and unlawful acts of violence and intimidation.
