Trump Says Iran War Will End ‘When I Feel It In My Bones’
President Donald Trump’s stance on the ongoing war with Iran remains uncertain, as he recently stated that it will only end “when I feel it in my bones.” This lack of clarity on a timeline for resolution has left many Americans anxious about the future.
In a conversation with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, Trump expressed confidence that the economy would quickly recover once the war concluded. However, when pressed on how he would determine when the conflict was over, Trump simply stated, “When I feel it in my bones.”
Despite Trump’s repeated claims that the war would end soon, there have been no concrete updates on how this goal will be achieved. Earlier in March, Trump optimistically suggested that the conflict could last just “four weeks.” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, however, refrained from speculating on when the war might actually end, emphasizing that it was Trump’s decision to communicate such information.
Trump’s assertion that Iran was on the brink of surrender during a call with G7 leaders raised eyebrows, as he acknowledged the lack of a clear leader in Iran to make such a declaration. The escalating tensions have already resulted in the loss of 13 U.S. service members, with mounting evidence suggesting U.S. involvement in a deadly bombing in Iran.
In response to Iran’s disruption of the Strait of Hormuz, a significant oil transport route, Trump announced plans to release strategic oil reserves to mitigate rising oil prices. Hegseth also pledged to increase strikes against Iran in the coming days.
Despite Trump’s confidence in a swift resolution to the war, his recent remarks at a rally in Kentucky hint at a prolonged conflict. “We don’t want to leave early, do we? We’ve got to finish the job,” Trump declared to his supporters.
As the uncertainty surrounding the war with Iran persists, Americans are left wondering when and how this conflict will ultimately come to an end.
