Rapper Offset hospitalized after being shot in Florida

Offset, known for his successful rap career, was unfortunately shot in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday. Thankfully, he is currently in stable condition in the hospital, according to a spokesperson for the rapper and police officials who confirmed the news to ABC News.

The spokesperson stated, “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”

The shooting took place after 7 p.m. in the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, as reported by the Seminole Police Department. Two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident, and the investigation is ongoing. Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was previously married to fellow rapper Cardi B, and the couple shares two children together.
