Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax kills wife, self in their home: Police

Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax tragically took the life of his wife, Cerina, before ending his own life in their home, as confirmed by the police on Thursday.

Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis disclosed that the incident stemmed from an “ongoing domestic dispute surrounding a complicated, messy divorce.” The police had previously been called to the couple’s Annandale, Virginia, residence in January for a domestic incident, but no charges were filed at that time.
