Founded in 2016 by YouTuber Callum McGinley (known as Callux), film director Ben Doyle (Rvbberduck), CEO Joshua Barnett, and Richard Mansell, After Party Studios has made a name for itself with original content, branded entertainment, and social productions across various platforms.
Some of After Party’s notable projects include the Sky Sports docuseries “Scenes,” Channel 4.0 shows like “Don’t Get Catfished” and “Hear Me Out,” as well as digital content for Netflix and campaigns for Red Bull and Just Eat. The company is currently working on exciting new projects such as “In Search of Peace” with Jordan Stephens for MTV UK and the docuseries “Race To The Top” following KSI’s involvement with Dagenham & Redbridge FC.
Sister Group’s CEO, Lucinda Hicks, praised After Party Studios for their unique approach to digital content creation and their strong relationships with talent, brands, and platforms. The partnership with Sister Group will allow After Party to continue producing groundbreaking content and expanding their reach.
The acquisition by Sister Group will enable After Party Studios to enhance their slate of projects and explore collaborations with other entities within the Sister Group umbrella, which includes companies like Sister Pictures, Dorothy St Pictures, Locksmith Animation, and Campside Media. This marks Sister’s first venture into the digital media space, showcasing their commitment to diverse storytelling platforms.
Co-founders Callum McGinley and Ben Doyle expressed their excitement about joining the Sister family, praising the company’s track record of supporting bold and distinctive storytelling.
