Heidi Klum Shocks at 2026 Met Gala With ‘Living Sculpture’ Ensemble
Heidi Klum Stuns at the 2026 MET Gala with Living Sculpture Look
Supermodel and television host Heidi Klum made a grand entrance at the 2026 MET Gala, paying homage to the art world with a custom look designed by Mike Marino. Inspired by classical works such as the “Veiled Christ” by Giuseppe Sammartino and the “Veiled Vestal” by Raffaele Monti, Klum’s outfit was a blend of materials like latex and spandex, aiming to transform her into a “living sculpture” with the illusion of stone being carved.
The star-studded event saw other celebrities like Connor Storie, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, and Emma Chamberlain gracing the red carpet in their own fashionable ensembles. The theme for this year’s gala was “Fashion is Art,” in connection to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Art exhibition.
Co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, the gala also featured a host committee led by Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz. The committee included names like Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, and more, all coming together to celebrate the intersection of fashion and art.
The lead sponsors for the gala and exhibition were Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, with additional support from Saint Laurent and Condé Nast. Curated by Andrew Bolton, the Costume Art exhibition at the Met explores the significance of the dressed body by showcasing historical and contemporary garments from the museum’s collection. The exhibition is set to run from May 10 to Jan. 10, 2027, offering a unique perspective on the artistry of fashion.
