Savannah Guthrie Shares Mother’s Day Tribute to Her Missing Mom Nancy

Savannah Guthrie, co-host of the “Today” show, recently took to Instagram to share a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute to her mother, Nancy, who has been missing since February. In her post, Guthrie expressed her deep longing for her mother, stating, “Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.” She urged anyone with information to come forward and help bring her mother home.

Nancy, 84, was last seen at her Arizona residence on January 31. The Pima County Sheriff stated that he believed Nancy did not leave her home voluntarily. Despite efforts to find her, including a person briefly detained in connection with her disappearance and recovered doorbell camera footage showing a possible culprit, there has been little progress in locating Nancy.

In early April, Guthrie participated in Good Shepherd New York’s digital Easter gathering, where she shared a message of hope amidst her mother’s unsolved abduction. Reflecting on the darkness of the situation, Guthrie emphasized the significance of acknowledging loss and pain in order to fully appreciate moments of light and resurrection.

After two months away, Guthrie returned to the “Today” desk on April 6, continuing her work while also tirelessly advocating for her mother’s safe return. The search for Nancy continues, with Guthrie remaining steadfast in her determination to find her missing mother.

The situation remains a heartbreaking mystery, with Guthrie’s unwavering hope and determination serving as a beacon of light in the midst of darkness. As the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance continues, Guthrie and her family are grateful for any information or assistance that may lead to Nancy’s safe return.
